Solo & Personal Brand Photography on Madeira
Some people travel alone. Some just want frames where they are the only subject. A solo session works the same way as my other sessions: one location, no rush, no posing school. You walk, I direct only when it helps.
What you get are photos of yourself on Madeira that were not taken at arm's length. Cliffs behind you, black sand under your feet, old town streets in the evening light.
Not even solo, rather individual projects
This is not even solo, it is individual projects, most often for people who have their own brand or who are the brand themselves. In Funchal there have been several collaborations with well-known media people.
I photographed merch for Tolkin, a YouTube creator and a retired professional League of Legends player. He is a four-time German champion with SPG, ESG and mousesports, and now a caster and analyst on the German broadcasts. On his recommendation I photographed the same kind of session in September 2026 for a colleague of his, the streamer Elotrix: that merch day is written up in the journal.
How I treat this work
I treat commercial projects and the personal projects of people the same way when their image is part of their own art performance, when they live life beautifully and want to bring more aesthetics into it and keep it. Inspiration from personalities and their creative fluids plays a large role for me.
The same as the atmosphere of kindness, happiness and wellbeing in family sessions, and the atmosphere of love, mutuality and anticipation of a happy future with couples.

How do I book a session?

Send me a WhatsApp message with your preferred dates and the type of session you have in mind. I usually respond within the hour to confirm availability and answer any questions.
How far in advance should I book?

For peak months (April through October), 2 to 4 weeks in advance is typical. For specific dates during holidays or popular travel weeks, earlier is safer. Last-minute sessions are sometimes possible. Just ask.
Do you require a deposit?

No. Your word holds the date. You pay on the day of the session, cash or bank transfer.
How do I pay?

Cash or a bank transfer to my IBAN, in euros, on the day of the session.
What if I need to cancel?

No problem. Tell me as early as you can and we reschedule or let it go. No fees, no paperwork.
Where do we meet?

Before the session I send you the exact point in Google Maps, with coordinates.
How do you direct people who are not comfortable in front of a camera?
+
I give one or two directions at the start, then I keep shooting. Most of the frames I use come from moments between poses: when you look at each other, when someone laughs at something. You don't need to perform.
Do you shoot video?

Yes, on separate request and in its own time, not during the photo session. Drone video can also be filmed during the photo session. The moment of a proposal I always photograph myself, with the camera in my hands. Ask me about video when you write.
Will there be other people at the location?

On Madeira it can get busy in the most unexpected places, so I never promise an empty spot. Ponta de São Lourenço is wide, and there is always a corner away from the main viewpoint. Miradouro do Guindaste is small, with little room to change the angle when people are close.
Can we bring our dog?

What should we wear?

Avoid strong patterns and matching outfits. They age quickly in photos and pull attention away from faces. Soft, muted colors work well against Madeira's landscapes. Layers are practical because temperatures vary a lot between the coast and the mountains.
How many locations do we visit?

Depends on the scope. Short: 1 location. Classic: 1–2 locations. Extended: 2–3 locations. VIP Day: 4–5 locations. I plan the route.
When do we receive the photos?

Standard delivery is 10 days after the session. Express delivery (24 hours) is available for an additional fee.
How are photos delivered?

Via a private download link sent to your WhatsApp or email. You receive high-resolution JPEGs, ready for printing, sharing, or any personal use.
How many photos do we receive?
+
Short: 25–30. Classic: 50–70. Extended: 150. VIP Day: 200+. These are minimums. I usually deliver slightly more.
